Merchandise Specialist

Job Summary

Ore Dock Brewing Company is rooted at the intersection of craft beer and community. This ideal depends on the creation of quality craft products and fostering of authentic interactions with the community and our customers. It is the job of Merchandise Specialist to provide support to the Head of Marketing, ensuring a quality customer experience with our merchandise offerings, inventory, and display.

Key Responsibilities

Submit, receive, and catalog purchase orders
Maintain POS system and item library
Analyze sales performance, COGS, and consumer preferences
Work with marketing department to plan & develop seasonal sets
Source new products and vendors
Create layouts and displays that enhance atmosphere and promote sales
Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability
Maintain organization of retail items and backstock areas
Produce quarterly inventory reports
Update online store and execute placed orders
Prep merchandise and displays for off-site events
Represent Ore Dock at off-site events as needed
Propose new merchandise ideas to Marketing

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Requirements

An interest in craft brewing industry
Organization and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Design and photography experience a plus
Organization and creativity
Honesty, accountability, and professionalism
Experience with inventory management
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
