Culinary Manager

Required: Servsafe

Preferred:  Management experience, 2 Years of culinary experience

Job Overview
We are seeking a Culinary Manager to lead our team and oversee all kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong background in kitchen management. As the Culinary Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring food quality and safety and managing the overall dining experience for our guests.

Duties

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Manage inventory control to minimize waste and ensure cost-effective purchasing of ingredients.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards in all aspects of kitchen operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency.

Skills

  • Strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate kitchen staff.
  • Proficient in food management practices, including menu planning and cost control.
  • Experience working within a dietary department is a plus.
  • Expertise in food handling techniques to ensure safety and quality.
  • Ability to manage inventory effectively, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the food industry trends and customer preferences.
  • Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on team development and performance improvement.
