Job Overview
We are seeking a Culinary Manager to lead our team and oversee all kitchen operations. As the Culinary Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring food quality and safety and managing the overall dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Manage inventory control to minimize waste and ensure cost-effective purchasing of ingredients.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards in all aspects of kitchen operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency.
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate kitchen staff.
- Proficient in food management practices, including menu planning and cost control.
- Experience working within a dietary department is a plus.
- Expertise in food handling techniques to ensure safety and quality.
